Since January 2011, I am working as an historian at the University of Luxembourg. I have written my PhD on the occupation of Belgium during World War One and World Two. In 2013 I published a social history of psychiatry in the 20th century from below. I am also co-editor of h-madness.
Next year, @uni.lu will move to Belval, in the south of Luxembourg
This year, the University of Luxembourg will “celebrate” its tenth anniversary – the official birthday will be August, 13th. The historians were asked to organise something: difficult to limit ourselves to the short story of our university. With Michel Pauly and Daniel Tröhler, we decided to offer a a series of conferences devoted to the creation of universities from the Middle Ages to today, entitled “Serving…”. Who created the university? What were there motivations?
The conferences will take place during the second semester, every Thursday from 11h45 to 13h15 at the Audimax (Campus Walferdange)
